How do your little ones fancy exploring a world of Gruffalos, dragons and other creatures brought to life by Julia Donaldson?

Fans of the children's author will be able to step inside their books in a new multi-sensory exhibition coming to Manchester.

Families are invited to 'take a trip into the brilliant 3D technicolour world at the event, which starts next month.

A World Inside A Book: Gruffalos, Dragons, and Other Creatures is coming to Z-arts in Manchester and will feature Donaldson's best known characters from The Gruffalo and Zog.

Youngsters will be able to spot The Gruffalo, Zog flying overhead, the dastardly The Highway Rat and more.

The attraction will also host birthday parties for groups of up to 30 kids.

It launches on the weekend of February 9 and 10 and is running until February 2020.

Birthday parties are available to book every Saturday while the exhibition is on and school performances are also available. These can be booked Tuesdays to Thursdays during term time between February and July and can be added to a creative workshop.

The exhibition slot itself lasts for 45 to 50 minutes and tickets cost from £6 each. Visit the website to book.
