A RECITAL by international renowned pianist Angela Brownridge takes place at Oldham Music Centre’s Lyceum Building soon.
The concert on Friday, February 1, starting at 7.30pm will feature Beethoven’s “Pathetique” sonata and a range of popular favourites by Chopin, Liszt, Debussy and Mendelssohn.
Brownridge has been described as a “true genius” by The Guardian which said “her performances were passionate, rhapsodic and totally compelling”.
The New York Times has described her as “one of the world’s finest pianists”. Tickets are priced £10, £5 for students and senior citizens. They are available by calling 0161 770 5660. All proceeds are to support the work of the music centre.
