PLANS for flats in a town centre building have been lodged.
Applicant Juris Kose has submitted a planning application to Hyndburn Council to convert a vacant shop into three flats on Whalley Road, Accrington.
This would add to the two flats that are already in the building to make five flats.
The flats will consist of a studio flat, two one-bedroom flats and two two-bedroom flats.
A design and access statement submitted as part of the application reads: "The proposal will have a positive impact on the vitality and viability of this local area providing housing where needed.
"The flats will be of a high standard."
