A WALKING club has revealed details of a picturesque trip through one a Bolton beauty spot.
Bolton Ramblers have invited any interested parties to join them on Sunday for a four-mile walk through Rivington Terrace Gardens.
The walk was originally planned for July 2018 but had to be cancelled due to the Winter Hill fires, which burned for more than two weeks, causing huge disruption in the area at the time.
The walk will take a circular route, exploring the magnificent gardens and architecture created by Lord Leverhulme with the opportunity to see the extensive regeneration of the gardens being carried out by dedicated volunteers.
Anyone interested in attending should meet at 2pm at the car park on Lever Park Avenue, close to Rivington & Blackrod School.
The walk is free and there is no need to book but walkers should come with suitably sturdy walking gear. For further information, visit: www.boltonramblers.org.uk or phone 07815 076 797.
