POLICE believe they have identified the man they wish to interview following a burglary at Tamesdie college in Ashton.
The follows the release of an image of a man they want to speak to earlier today.
The raid took place at the campus in the middle of the night on Monday, February 18.
He stole a number of items including a large amount of sports equipment.
The offender is described as a white man of slim build with dark hair and stubble on his face. He is seen to be wearing a black and grey Under Armour jumper and dark coloured trousers with black trainers with a white sole.
No one was inside Tameside college at the time of the incident.
Information can be given to police by calling 0161 8569351 and quoting incident number 1968 of 19/02/19.
Alternatively, information can be passed on to the independent charity Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555 111.
