THE Oldham Choir under its musical director Dorian Kelly is to give a spring concert on Saturday, March 30.
It takes place at Greenacres Congregational Church, Galland Street, Oldham and starts at 7.30pm. The Concert will be supporting Macmillan Cancer Support.
The choir’s guests at the concert will be the Chapel-en-le-Frith Ladies Choir directed by Sam Gilliatt. The programme will include a wide selection of music from sacred to secular through to soul and will include joint items of 80 voices.
Tickets are £7.50 (including refreshments) - tickets are available from choir members or on the door, with under 16s admitted free.
The Oldham Choir is also having an Open Rehearsal on Monday, April 1, at Coldhurst Community Centre, Rochdale Road, Oldham, starting at 7.30pm.
Anyone who would like to try singing in a choir, is invited attend along. In particular demand are tenors and bass singers. The choir can also be contacted via its website www.theoldhamchoir.co.uk
