STUDENTS and staff from Failsworth School paid a visit to Parliament to learn more about the role of MPs.
The group were met by the Ashton and Failsworth MP Angela Rayner, who is also Shadow Education Secretary, in the Parliamentary Education Centre.
Ms Rayner took questions from the group on a range of issues including Brexit, tackling climate change and Labour plan’s for a national education service.
She said: “l get such a real buzz when schools from my constituency come down to Parliament to visit. It’s great to show them round and find out which issues they are interested in.”
