DUANE Philip Kershaw, aged 46, of Abbey Hills Road, Oldham, stole alcohol worth £64.50 from Asda in Oldham. He was given a nine-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £32.50 compensation, and a victim surcharge of £20 as well £85 costs.

CALVIN James Boyle, aged 34, of Coalshaw Green Road, Oldham, stole a Dewalt laser worth £350 from a man on November 23, 2018 and failed to surrender to custody at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on December 20 and on February 13. He was ordered to carry out unpaid work for 80 hours in the next 12 months and to pay £120 compensation, £85 to victim services and £85 costs.

KAVAN Clive, aged 20, of Fern Common, Shaw, was guilty of drink driving and assaulting a police officer. He was ordered to carry out unpaid work for 40 hours in the next 12 months, and to pay £50 compensation, £85 to victim services and £150 costs. Clive was banned from driving for 17 months.

ROXANNE Kiernan, aged 29, of Lady Road, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on October 26, 2018, by missing an appointment and not remaining in contact or notifying an address since November 7, 2018. Her original offence was assault of a woman by beating. Kiernan was ordered to have treatment for alcohol dependency for six months and fined £50 with £60 costs.

ANTHONY Edwin Colin Winterbottom, aged 35, of Shakespeare Road, Oldham has been committed to Minshull Street Manchester Crown Court for sentencing for assault of a man occasioning actual bodily harm on March 16.

KYLE Durkin, aged 28, of Hawksley Street, Oldham, drove on Union Street, Oldham, with no insurance, handled a stolen Ford Fiesta car worth £14,000 knowing it was stolen and drove with excess alcohol in his blood. He was electronically tagged and given an eight-week curfew ending on May 9. He was also banned from driving for 12 months.

An application by Greater Manchester Police for the continued detention of £75,999 in cash from Rajesh Mepani, aged 40, of Cheviot Avenue, Oldham, under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002, has been granted.

NICOLAS Paul Casey, aged 48, of Oldham Road, Springhead, assaulted a police constable and has failed to surrender to custody. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

MOHAMMED Zubair, aged 39, of Park Road, Oldham, assaulted a police constable and failed to provide a specimen of breath for analysis. The offences were committed in the operational period of a suspended prison sentence imposed for failing to provide a specimen. He has now been jailed for a total of 22 weeks and ordered to pay £115 into victim services.

THOMAS Stephen Worsley, aged 35, of Barlow House, Eldon Street, Oldham, assaulted a man by beating in attack deemed by the court to be racially aggravated. Worsley also caused another man to fear violence would be used against him. He was given a 26-week jail sentence suspended for 12 months. He must also carry out unpaid work for 100 hours in the next 12 months. Worsley was given a restraining order prohibiting him from making contact with his victims or going within 100 metres of an address in Shaw. After being found guilty, Worsley was also ordered to pay costs of £420, compensation of £200 and £115 into victim services.

ALAM Uddin, aged 26, of Broome Street, Oldham, failed to comply with a suspended sentence order by missing unpaid work appointments on March 23 and January 28. He has been jailed for one week.

JOHNNY Howitt, aged 27, of Clevedon Road, Chadderton, failed to comply with a community order issued by Tameside magistrates on December 20 by missing unpaid work appointments on January 26 and February 2. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

MOHAMMED Sajon, aged 19, of Trafalgar Street, Oldham, failed to comply with a suspended sentence order imposed by Tameside magistrates by missing unpaid work appointments on January 23 and February 6. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

JASON Travis Buckley, also known as Jason Travis Buckley, aged 47, of Montgomery Place, Oldham, interfered with a Ford Kuga car with the intention of theft being carried out on March 18. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 to victim services.

BEN COLE, aged 18, of Turns Road, Oldham stole five boxes of crisps worth £82 from a man. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge, and ordered to pay £20 to victim services.

DAVID John Crinion, aged 52, of Newchurch, Bardsley, assaulted a woman by beating. He was ordered to carry out 150 hours of unpaid work and ordered to pay £100 compensation, £85 into victim services and £620 costs. He was also given a restraining order preventing him from contacting the victim or entering a street in Oldham or driving along it.

MOHAMMED Raza, aged 44, of Lees Street, Oldham, assaulted a woman by beating. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge, ordered to pay £20 to victim services and £85 costs.

PETRICA Patachi, aged 31, of Cranbrook Street, Oldham, was guilty of drink driving and drove without insurance and without a licence. He was ordered to carry 100 hours of unpaid work and to pay costs of £85 and £85 to victim services. He was band from holding or obtaining a driving licence for two years.

SARAH Louise Bradley, aged, 31, of Christchurch Court, Derby Street, Werneth, failed to comply with a community order by missing two appointments. Her original offence was causing unnecessary suffering to an animal – a tabby cat known as Malakhite – by failing to provide veterinary care of the animal’s fractured femur and neck of femur. She was ordered to undertake rehabilitation activity up to a maximum of 15 days.

MARTIN Collins, aged 22, of Union Street, Oldham, attempted to use a counterfeit £20 note, knowing it was a forgery, stole a Ford Focus car and drove it with no MOT certificate and with no insurance on August 25, 2018. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

REGAN Walters, aged 36, of Oldham Road, Lydgate, was guilty of drink driving in Lees Road, Oldham, failed to stop and had no insurance. He was fined £180 and ordered to pay £30 to victim services and £85 costs. He was banned from driving for 18 months.

CAESAR Cayenato Magante Capili, aged 48, and Mary Ann Capili, of Briton Street, Royton, were in breach of an enforcement notice issued by Oldham Council requiring the removal of a single-storey extension and making good an existing wall and removal of materials from the premises. Caesar Capili was fined £92 and ordered to pay £200 costs and £30 into victim services. Mary Capili was fined £176 and ordered to pay £200 costs and £30 into victim services.

MOHAMMED Shahin Ali, aged 32, of Widdop Street, Oldham, stole Loreal Products worth £390 from Boots in Oldham on March 20. He was jailed for 10 week and given a two-year criminal behaviour order preventing him from entering Oldham town centre. He was ordered to pay £115 into victim services.
