THE following cases have been dealt with by Tameside Magistrates' Court.

ASHLEY Liam Meegan, aged 30, of Valley New Road, Royton, communicated with numerous children under the age of 16 for sexual gratification. He was committed to Minshull Street Manchester Crown Court for sentence.

REMUS Petrovici, aged 23, of Darwin Street, Oldham, drove with no insurance and with no licence and obstructed a police constable in the execution of his duty. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

AARON Riley, aged 22, of Wavemy Road, Shaw, caused £150 worth of damage to a Mercedes car and £750 damage to a Vauxhall Astra on November 11. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £439 compensation.

ANTHONY Maughan, aged 41, of Potter House, Eldon Street, Oldham stole charity cash from Kingfisher Special School. He was ordered to undertake treatment for drug dependency for nine months and ordered to pay compensation of £100.

GAVYN Booker, aged 26, of Cheltenham Street, Oldham, failed to comply with supervision requirements following release from prison by missing appointments on January 1, 10 and 31. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

DOUGLAS Bourne, aged 28, of Edgemoor Close, Watersheddings, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order issued by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on July 9, 2018 by missing an appointment on February 22. He must now participate in rehabilitation activity for up to a maximum of five days. He must also pay £60 costs.

NICHOLAS Oliver Bridgehouse, aged 47, of Roundthorn Road, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on December 13 by missing appointments on February 25 and March 6. He also failed to comply with a community order made by North Yorkshire Magistrates on September 20, 2018 by missing appointments on December 12 and March 6. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

DANIEL Kevin John Devine, aged 41, of Seville Street, Royton, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on September 19 by missing appointments on February 13 and March 6. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

JAKE Hussain, aged 23, of South Hill Street, Glodwick, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on January 14 by missing appointments on February 23 and March 2. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

JAKE Hussain, aged 42, of Welfold House, Glodwick Road, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on February 12, 2018 by being aggressive, verbally abusive and using racist and insulting language to probation service staff on January 16 and February 27. He must carry out 30 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months.

ISMAIL Uddin, aged 31, of Trafalgar Street, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on August 20, 2018 by an unpaid work appointment on February 24. He was fined £40.

ELLIOTT Peter John White, aged 24, of Tauris Street, Oldham, failed to comply with a suspended sentence order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on December 18, 2017 by missing unpaid work appointments on December 16, 2018 and February 24. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

LEWIS McDermott, aged 18, of Taunton Road, Chadderton, stole a mobile phone worth £400 from a man and had crack cocaine in his possession. He also stole a diamond pendant worth £130 from H Samuel in Bury,Hugo Boss sunglasses worth £150 from Specsavers in Bury, an electric razor from Boots in Ashton and a wrist watch worth £34 from Next at Ashton. He was ordered undertake rehabilitation habilitation activity and to carry out 40 hours of unpaid work and pay £85 into victim services and £85 costs.

WAYNE Stuart Gittens, aged 36, of Flint Street, Oldham stole honey worth £223 from Holland and Barrett on March 20 and on that day entered Oldham town centre when prohibited from doing so by a criminal behaviour order. The offences were commissioned during the operational period of a suspended jail sentence. He was jailed for 16 weeks.

DECLAN James Joseph O'Neil, aged 23, of Peverill Road, Oldham, drove with excess levels of Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood and was guilty of possession of cannabis. He also drove with false number plates, no licence, no insurance and drove a car knowing it had been taken without the owner’s consent. He was given an 18-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20 into victim services.

DALE Anthony Hall, aged 34, of Elizabeth Avenue, Chadderton, failed to comply with a the community requirement of a suspended sentence order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on October 18 by missing appointments on February 12 and 18. The six-month jail sentence which was suspended for 12 months has now been imposed. His original offence was possession of an offensive weapon, namely a hammer and using threatening behaviour in Oldham on October 18, 2018.

THOMAS Patrick Lindop, aged 32, of Densmore Street, Failsworth, was in possession of two containers and a foil wrap of cannabis. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 into victim services.

ASHLEY Thomas Phethean, aged 30, of Lodge Lane, Delph, drove without due care and attention in Delph New Road, on December 10. He was fined £333 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £33 to victim services.

A WARRANT has been issued for the arrest of Ibrahim Mohammed Ashraf, aged 34, of Waltham Street, Oldham, on a charge of stealing alcohol worth £87.50 from Tesco in Oldham on January 2.

JOAN COLLINS, aged 64, of Dairy Street, Chadderton, harassed two women in Oldham between October 29. 2017 and January 9, 2019 and on November 28 assaulted one of the women. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

LEWIS James Anderson, aged 27, of Mona Road, Chadderton, drove with excess Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, a controlled drug, in his blood. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 into victim services. He was also banned from driving for 12 months.
