THE following cases have been dealt with by Tameside Magistrates' Court

LEE David Owens, aged 36, of Mellor Way, Chadderton, visited The Royal Oldham Hospital to see his ex-partner when he was prohibited from doing so by a non-molestation order made by Manchester Family Court on October 16. He was ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. LEWIS James Anderson, aged 27, of Mona Road, Chadderton, drove with excess Delta-9-tetrahydrocannabinol, a controlled drug, in his blood. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 into victim services. He was also banned from driving for 12 months.

KAVANAGH Faulkner, aged 21, of Radcliffe Street, Royton, drove with excess of Benzolecgonine and Delta 9 Tetrahydracannabinol, controlled drugs, in his blood. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 and £29.99 into victim services. He was banned from driving for 12 months.

KARL Kelsall, aged 50, of Anchor Street, Oldham, stole meat worthy £80 from Sainsbury’s in Oldham on March 20, and three fragrance gift sets worth £40 from Boots in Oldham on February 25. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £120 compensation.

DANIEL Sean Walker, aged 29, of Hawkshead Road, Shaw, stole tools worth £5,030 from a man between January 5 and January 11. He was given a 14-week prison sentence, suspended for 12 months and has been ordered to pay £1,000 compensation, £115 into victim services and £85 costs.

SHAFAK Hussain, aged 42, of Crossbank House, Manchester Road, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on March 6 by missing unpaid work appointments on June 5, 2018 and June 12, 2018. His original offence was failing to surrender tu custody after being released on bail on October 10. He has been jailed for 12 weeks because of a “wilful and persistent breach”.

ELLIOTT Peter John White, aged 24, of Taurus Street, Oldham, failed to comply with a suspended sentence order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on December 12 by missing unpaid work appointments on December 16 and February 24. He was jailed for a total of eight weeks for his original offences of assault of a woman by beating, causing £50 damage to the front door of her property, obstructing a police officer and assaulting another woman by beating.

ROBERT Mirga, aged 41, of Wolverton Avenue, Oldham, drove with no insurance and while disqualified from holding a licence. He was ordered to pay £85 to victim services and £85 costs and ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He was also banned from driving for 12 months.

TRACY O'Donnell, aged 41, of Beesemer Way, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Oldham Magistrates’ Court on August 20, 2015 by missing appointments on and between March 22, 2018 and April 20, 2018. O’Donnell was also found in possession of cannabis a knuckleduster on April 7. She was jailed for a total of 12 weeks also for her original offence of producing a quantity of cannabis and dishonestly using electricity. She was also ordered to pay £115 to victim services.

ZABIAN Moss, aged 20, of Propps Hall Drive, Failsworth, caused £150 of damage to the doors of a property of a woman on January 7.

He was given a restraining order prohibiting him from making contact with the woman or entering a street in Oldham where she lives.

Moss was also fined £80 and ordered to pay £150 compensation, £85 costs and £30 to victim services.

PAUL John Horrigan, aged 48, of Freshwinds Court, Oldham failed to comply with a community order madeby Tameside Magistrates’ Court on November 1 by missing appointments on February 27 and March 6. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

DANIEL Francis Clarke, aged 43, of Victoria Street, Lees, was found guilty of carrying an offensive weapon, namely a length of wood, with which he threatened a man. He was committed to Minshull Street Manchester Crown Court for sentence.

ROBERT Michael Slicker, aged 47, of Cheltenham Street, Oldham, stole a charity box of an unknown value from Sainsbury’s on March 22 and on April 8. He was given a community order with a electronically tagged eight-week curfew order until June 3, from 7pm to 7am at 50 Cheltenahm Street and must partake in rehabilitation activity up to a maximum of 20 days. Slicker must also pay £50 costs.

DYLAN Thomas Hardman, aged 22, of St Clements court, Oldham, contacted a woman when prohibited from doing so by a restraining order imposed by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on April 26, 2017. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

JAKE Hussain, aged 23, of South Hill Street, Glodwick, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on January 14 on two occasions. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay £60 costs.

DARREN Lee Simon Shaw, aged 42, of Ashford Walk, Oldham, drove with cocaine and Benzoylecgonine in his blood on May 13, 2018 and on January 14, this year, he failed to surrender to custody at Tameside Magistrates’ Court. He was fined £380 and ordered to pay £300 costs and £38 into victim services. Shaw was also banned from driving for 18 months.

SCOTT Williams, aged 38, of Age Croft, Oldham, contacted a woman when prohibited from doing so by a non-molestation order made by Manchester Family Court on April 4, 2018. Williams must participate in rehabilitation activity up to a maximum of 15 days and pay an £80 fine, £85 costs and £85 to victim services.

THOMAS Jack Johnson, aged 21, of Cotswold Drive, Royton, has been committed to Minshull Street Manchester Crown Court for sentence after pleading guilty to wounding man and causing £2,081.01 worth of damage to his victim’s Audi A3 car on September 15.

TRACY Ann O’Brien, aged 48, of Hollins Road, Oldham, assaulted a man by beating on January 25. She was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs, £100 compensation and £20 to victim services.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest Ashley Philip Mayall, aged 28, of St Mary’s Way, Oldham, on charges of assaulting a man, inflicting grievous bodily harm on second man and assault occasioning actual bodily harm on a third man, on August 27, 2018.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Jason Traynor, aged 32, of Drake Close, Oldham, on charges of possession of a dangerous dog.

ALEX Glynn, aged 23, of Ripponden Road, Waterhead, was guilty of drink driving on March 1 in Acord Street, Oldham. He was fined £290 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 to victim services.

CHRISTOPHER James Kelly, aged 41, of Cheltenham Street, Derker, failed to comply with a suspended sentence order made by Manchester City Magistrates on August 19, 2017 by missing appointments on October 11, 2017 and October 17, 2017. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

BENJAMIN Mark LEACH, aged 36, of Alva Road, Oldham, drove a car with controlled drug Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood on November 28, 2018, with no licence and no insurance. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

PHIL Jan Peter Lennox, aged 21, of Eden Way, Shaw, had in his possession a quantity of cocaine. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

TRAVIS Joel Holden, aged 20, of Gilderdale Close, Shaw,was guilty of speeding on the M62 motorway on July 21, 2018. He was fined £165 and ordered to pay £30 to victim services.

JORDAN Jackson, aged 23, of Fontwell Lane, Oldham, has pleaded not guilty to a a series of thefts from a man in Oldham, but has failed to answer bail. Magistrates have now issued a warrant for his arrest. He is charged with stealing three televisions together worth £2,050 on August 22, 23 and September 3, and three audio speakers worth £3,500, and failing to surrender to custody at Tameside Magistrates’ Court.

NIALL Lynn, aged 27, of Catlin Way, Oldham, assaulted twoi on duty police officer by beating on March 27 and on July 21, 2018 damaged a window and TV to the value of £170 belonging to a man. He was given a 16-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay compensation of £200.
