APRIL 21: St Thomas Church Moorside, 10.30am to 11.30am. A joyful celebration of the resurrection of Jesus with Easter egg hunt and Eucharist. To be followed by the Easter raffle draw and light refreshments in the church hall. All welcome.

APRIL 21: St Thomas Church Moorside, 6.30pm to 7.30pm, Easter service with hymns and readings. All welcome.

APRIL 27: St Thomas’ Church Hall, Northgate Lane, Moorside, STYLE hosting a Rock ‘n’ roll Bingo session, 7.30pm to 9.30pm in aid of church funds. Bingo with songs instead of numbers. Families can pit their musical wits against each other. £1.50 per card or £5 for each of the four games.

APRIL 30: Springhead Liberal Club ,General Knowledge Quiz, It’s not Rocket Science, 8.30pm, £3 per person including raffle and stand-up bingo on behalf of Parkinson’s and Oldham Branch of the MS Society.

MAY 13: Salem Moravian Church, Lees Road, Oldham, Coffee Morning and Book, DVD and CD sale and Traidcraft stall. Bacon butties available. Free entry.

MAY 17: St Thomas’ Church Hall, Northgate Lane, Moorside, STYLE Clothes Show, 7pm for prompt start at 7.30pm. Come along and buy high street named fashion at very low prices. Also jewellery and perfume stalls. Licensed bar and a raffle to win vouchers to spend on the night. This is a really popular sell-out event so get your tickets early. Tickets only £3 each. MAY 22: Saddleworth Museum, High Street, Uppermill. 7.30pm, Saddleworth Historical Society together with The Huddersfield Canal Society have an Illustrated presentation by Trevor Ellis entitled "The Standedge Tunnels". All welcome. Historical Society members free but a charge on the evening to non-members of £3. Refreshments available.
