OXFORD MAGISTRATES’

JACQUELINE VERNEY, 44, of Britwell Hill, Watlington, was convicted of using a vehicle without third party insurance on November 5 at Aylesbury. She was fined £660 and must pay a victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85 and her driving licence was endorsed with six penalty points.

JANET WEEDON, 68, of Ferry Pool Road, Oxford, was convicted of speeding by driving 49 mph in a 40 mph area at the A41 Bicester on September 27. She was fined £141 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and her driving licence was endorsed with three penalty points.

ALEXANDROS XANTHPOULOS, 22, of Horse Fair, Banbury, was convicted of speeding by driving in excess of 70 mph at a 70 mph area on the M40 at Chesterton on January 4. He was fined £200 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85 and his driving licence was endorsed with four penalty points.

ELLIOT RODNEY, 19, of Falstaff Close, Eynsham, admitted possession of a quantity of cocaine and a quantity of cannabis on November 25 at Oxford. He was given a conditional discharge for 24 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.

DINESS RASARATNAM, 30, of Gloucester Street, Faringdon, admitted driving above the legal alcohol limit on January 14 at Kings Sutton, Northamptonshire. Had 267 mlg of alcohol in 100 ml of blood. He was fined £110 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and he was disqualified from driving for 48 months.

AMY CHANTELLE CHANDLER, 26, of Kendall Crescent, Oxford, admitted failing to provide a specimen for analysis on January 12 at Abingdon Police Station. She was made subject to a community order to include 170 hours of unpaid work and she must pay a victim surcharge of £85 and court costs of £400 and he was disqualified from driving for 30 months.

KASEEM ASHRAF, 20, of Fern Hill Road, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man at Oxford on August 11. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £250.

IBRAHIM KHAN, 20, of Kestrel Crescent, Oxford, admitted assaulting a man at Oxford on August 11. He was fined £90 and must pay a victim surcharge of £30, compensation of £100 and court costs of £250.

STEVEN ROBERT COULTER, 34, of Wykham Place, Banbury, admitted assaulting a woman at Banbury on March 12 as well as causing criminal damage to a coat. He was made subject to a restraining against his victim and must pay a fine totalling £140, compensation of £50, a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £40.

ALEKS NTREOU, 24, of Stert Street, Abingdon, admitted assaulting a woman at Abingdon on February 6. He was given a conditional discharge for 12 months and must pay a victim surcharge of £20 and court costs of £85.

JAMIE CLARK, 29, of Luther Street, Oxford, admitted three counts of stealing a pedal cycle at Oxford Brookes University on February 4 valued at £230, at Cheney School on January 23 valued at £349 and at Oxford Brookes University on February 6 valued at £800. He must pay compensation for each bicycle of £230, £349 and £800.

NATHAN ANDREW MOREBY, 35, of Jubilee Court, Banbury, admitted possessing heroin in Banbury on March 1. He was fined £100, must pay a victim surcharge of £30.

ROBERTJAMES ZASADA, 28, of no fixed address, admitted stealing alcohol worth £18.04 from Waitrose in Abingdon on February 13. Jailed for two weeks, must pay a victim surcharge of £115.

MICHAEL MAIN, 57, of High Street, Standlake, admitted speeding at 41mph in a 30mph zone in Duckington Lane, Witney, on September 7. Fined £100, must pay a victim surcharge of £30. Three penalty points.

ORREAN NICHOLAS JACOB, 36, of Mattock Close, Oxford, admitted using a vehicle without insurance in Oxford Road, Littlemore, on September 14. Fined £369, must pay a victim surcharge of £36 and court costs of £85. Six penalty points.

CHRISTOPHER TRETT, 29, of Windrush, Banbury, was convicted of failing to give information relating to the identity of a driver suspected of committing an offence between September 17 and October 15. Fined £660, must pay victim surcharge of £66 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for six months.

DEXTER WILLIAMS, 29, of Coriander Way, Oxford, admitted causing criminal damage to a cordless telephone worth £80 in Abingdon Police Station on March 15 and assaulting a woman by beating her in Oxford on March 28. Must pay £80 compensation and a £115 victim surcharge. Given a restraining order not to contact a woman until March 28 2020.

ROSS BRESNAHAN, 24, of Middle Furlong, Didcot, admitted drink driving in Torridge Drive, Didcot, on March 16. Had 45mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcgs. Fined £200, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85. Disqualified from driving for 12 months.

JEMMA GOATER, 48, of The Plantation, Cropredy, admitted drink driving in Cropredy on March 14. Had 118mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcgs. A community order was made and she must carry out 120 hours unpaid work within the next 12 months. Must pay a £85 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 28 months.

STEPHEN GEORGE RUSHMER, 54, of North Way, Headington, admitted being drunk and disorderly in a public place in Little Clarendon Street, Oxford, on March 14. Fined £100, must pay a victim surcharge of £30 and court costs of £85.

CONSTANTIN VLAD MIHAILA, 30, of no fixed address, admitted drink driving in East Hanney, Wantage, on April 1. Had 11mcgs of alcohol in 100ml of breath, exceeding the limit of 35mcgs. Jailed for six weeks, must pay a £115 victim surcharge and £85 court costs. Disqualified from driving for 28 months.

DRAGOMIR NUTU, 28, of Beatrice Drive, Banbury, admitted theft by employee by stealing £64.77 of pork loins from DB Foods in Banbury on October 5, stealing £65.72 of pork loins from DB Foods in Banbury on November 7, stealing £65.49 of pork loins from DB Foods in Banbury on November 9 and stealing £96.60 of pork loins and 25l of diesel from DB Foods in Banbury on November 14. Community order made and he must carry out 100hours unpaid work in the next 12 months. Must pay £195.98 compensation, an £85 victim surcharge and £85 court costs.
