Tomorrow (Friday, May 3), Let’s Go For a Walk in Oldham – Chadderton Hall Park to Foxdenton Park and back, starts 10am.

Meeting at the Pavilion Café located next to the park’s main car park the walk will start with a stroll through the lovely Chadderton Hall Park before taking the Rochdale canal towpath to Foxdenton Park. Both parks are an oasis away from the hustle and bustle of modern Chadderton Life. They will retrace their route back to the start along the canal. Part of the GM Walking Festival 2019. Distance is four to five miles.

Tomorrow, (Friday, May 4) Walk as One at 1 (Peace Walk), meet 12.50pm to walk at 1pm, Dunwood Park Labyrinth

This the annual walk around the Dunwood Park Labyrinth to join in World Labyrinth Day, part of an internationally organised event where people walk as one at 1 all around the world as a global celebration of labyrinths on World Labyrinth Day (first Sunday in May).

Saturday, (May 5), Blackstone Edge Walk in Littleborough, start time 9.30am.

Meeting at Hollingworth Lake car park, postcode OL15 0AZ the challenging 12-mile walk will go up to Blackstone Edge along Pennine Way and back via Ogden Reservoir.
