A MAN has been charged with murder after a large fight outside a pub in Failsworth.
Momodou Jallow, aged 21, of Ashley Lane, Moston was previously charged with Section 18 assault, violent disorder and possession of a bladed article.
He has now been charged with murder of 24-year-old Joe O’Brien from Blackley.
He will appear via video link at Tameside Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday, May 9).
The charge relates to a fight police were called to on Oldham Road at around 3am on Sunday, April 21. Joe died after being stabbed.
Another man – who was 21 at the time of the incident – was also stabbed.
