Spotlight's Widow Twankie outfit
THE Spotlight Theatre Group is to perform the pantomime Aladdin at its East Oldham Methodist Church venue in Collette Street, off Ripponden Road, starting on Thursday, May 16.
The curtain also goes up Friday and Saturday, May 17 and 18, at 7.15pm. Spotlight received a grant of £450 from Oldham Cares to help with the cost of 86 costumes and the Chinese dragon which are part of the show.

The group meets at the church every Friday, from 6.30pm to 8pm, where organisers say people can make new friends while gaining confidence through drama, dance a performing on stage.
