M60 crash
A SERIOUS crash on the M60 is causing long delays.
The incident, which involved two cars, happened around Junction 22 for the A62 Manchester Road (Failsworth) at 5.10pm.
Motorway police called for paramedics and firefighters to help deal with the crash and one lane was closed just before the exit slip road.
This caused delays back to Junction 23 (Ashton Under Lyne) while emergency services treated those involved in the crash.
A spokesman for the North West Motorway Police has since confirmed that there were "no reports of serious injuries".
Traffic officers are currently on the scene removing the damaged vehicles.
Disruption is expected to continue.
