FANS of comic books, video games and films came together at Oldham's third annual Comic Con.

The free event at the Queen Elizabeth Hall on Saturday, included forty guests from the world of comics including Amy Chu – writer on Red Sonja, Poison Ivy and Wonder Woman, Keith Williams, who started as a background artist at Marvel and has worked on many greats since, including Spider-Man, and Nick Brokenshire - artist and writer on Star Wars.

Some fans took the opportunity to dress as their favourite characters, with Marvel's finest superheroes seemingly the most popular, following the recent success of Avengers: Endgame.

Stall holders included comic illustrators, cover artists and writers.
