Oldham people appearing in Tameside Magistrates' Court

GARY Steven Weng, aged 32, of Beechfield Close, Springhead, failed to provide specimen of breath for analysis when suspected of drink driving. He was fined £288 and ordered to pay £85 and £30 into victim services. He was also banned from driving for 14 months.

CLARE Shepley, aged 47, of Chelbourne Drive, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on June 7, 2018. She was ordered to pay costs of £60 and ordered undergo drug rehabilitation treatment.

DAVID Peter Southward, aged 57, of Abbey Hills Road, Oldham, failed to comply with notification requirements under the Sexual Offences Act 2003. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 into victim services.

MICHAEL Mallabone, aged 56, of New Earth Street, Oldham, was guilty of drink driving in Lake Street, Oldham on March 22. He was given a community order and will be electronically tagged under curfew until June 27. Until then he must be at home between 9pm and 6am daily. He must also pay a £500 fine, £85 costs and £85 into victim services. Mallbone was banned from driving for 18 months.

DEBRA Brooker, aged 40, of Block Lane, Chadderton, failed to comply with a community order made by Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on January 27 by being absent from her place of curfew on various dates and times between February 21 and March 4. Her original offence was driving while disqualified and with no insurance on April 8 and failing to surrender to custody. Brooker was given a community order and given a curfew requirement with electronic tagging until August 28. Until then she must remain at her home address daily between 7pm and 7am. She must also pay £85 into victim services.

ASHLEY Wild, aged 32, of Oldham Road, Royton, threatened to burn down the house of a woman. He must now carry out 40 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and has been made the subject of a restraining order prohibiting him from making contact directly or indirectly with his victim and must not incite, ask or encourage another person to harass, threaten or intimidate her. The order lasts until May 2, 2020. He must also pay £85 into victim services and costs of £300.

KELVIN English, aged 28, of Welland Road, Shaw, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on June 22, 2018 by missing unpaid work appointments on December 12, 2018 and January 20, 2019. English must now carry out seven hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and pay £60 costs.

JAKE Thomas Casey, aged 21, of Lower Green, Royton, assaulted a woman by beating in Oldham on December 1. He was given a community order and given a curfew with electronic tagging order ending October 9. Until then he must be at home between 7pm and 7am daily. He was also given a restraining order prohibiting him from making contact, directly or indirectly, with his victim except via social services or the family courts or entering the street where she lives. He must also pay £150 costs, £85 into community services and £50 compensation.

SHAHRUKH Bayzi, aged 48, of Stanley Street, Chadderton, assaulted two police officers and a woman on March 18. He was jailed for 23 weeks and ordered to pay £300 compensation.

MAHMOOD Karim, aged 54, of Windsor Road, Oldham, was guilty of possession of morphine, and crack cocaine. He was Fined £180 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 to victim services.

JAMMIE Liam Jones, aged 30, of Summervale House, Manchester Street, Oldham, stole two board games worth £50 beloning to The Works on April 13. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

ALISON Chelsea Ward, aged 31, of Lychgate Court, Oldham, obstructed a police constable in the execution of her duty in Oldham on January 1. She was fined £54 and ordered to pay £200 costs and £30 to victim services.

ANDREW Evans, aged 20, of Dunster Close, Chadderton, drove with no insurance in Shillingford road, Chadderton on February 10 and while disqualified. He was placed under curfew with electronic tagging until June 19 and until then must be at home daily between 7pm and 7am. Evans must also pay £85 costs and £85 to victim services and has been banned from driving for 12 months.

JORDAN Jackson, aged 23, of Fontwell Lane, Oldham, stole a televisions worth a total of £1,950 on three separate dates and audio speakers worth £3,500 from a man. He was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and to pay £350 compensation.

JAMIE Andrew Lynch, aged 37, of Whitstable Close, Chadderton, caused £80 worth of damage to a woman’s kitchen door and assaulted a man. He was fined £60 and ordered to pay £150 compensation and £85 to victim services in addition to £150 costs. He was also given a restraining order banning him from making any contact with his victim and a woman or entering a street in Failsworth.

CAMERON McGrail, aged 19, of Vale Drive, Oldham, assaulted a woman by beating and caused £120 of damage to a window belonging to another woman. He was given a community order for which he must participate in rehabilitation activity for up to a maximum of 15 days. He was also ordered to pay £120 costs.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest Toni Johnson, aged 45, of Drake Close, Oldham, on charges of possession of a dangerous dog, namely a pit bull terrier and failing to surrender to custody.

ROBERT Birnescu, aged 28, of Kingsbridge Road, Oldham, was guilty of drink driving on Gainsborough Avenue, Oldham on May 10. He was fined £300 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 into victim services. He was banned from driving for 12 months.
