THE following cases have been dealt with at Tameside Magistrates Court.

PIERCE Smeaton, aged 64, of Manchester Road, Failsworth, contacted a woman on December 29, 2018, on January 2, 7 and 12, 2019 when prohibited from doing so by a restraining order imposed by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on October 26 and. He must now carry out 60 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. He was also given an additional restraining order prohibiting him from making contact directly or indirectly with the victim or from entering an address in Chadderton or driving along the road. He is also prohibited from entering the Co-op Group in Angel Square Manchester or entering St Margaret’s Church in Prestwich. The order is effective until May 28, 2021. He must also pay £85 costs and £85 into victim services.

JAMIE Chadderton, aged 25, of Oldham Road, Royton, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on February 21 by failing to attend unpaid work on March 18 and April 10. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

DANIEL Smethurst, aged 33, of Cypress Close, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Kirklees Magistrates’ Court on November 23, 2018 by failing to attend unpaid work on December 19 and January 2. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

Tameside magistrates have granted a request from Greater Manchester Police for the forfeiture of seized cash, namely, £1,460 from Aden Simpson, aged 26, of Warcock Road, Oldham under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.

TERRY Lees, aged 46, has been committed to Minshull Street Manchester Crown Court for breaching a Crown Court suspended sentence after pleading guilty at Tameside Magistrates’ Court to theft of two irons worth £59.98 from T J Hughes in the Town Square Shopping Centre at Oldham on February 18 and a kettle worth £20 from the same store on April 6.

KANKA Ishoviyanova, aged 57, of Kinder Avenue, Ashton, kept a Mercedes car which was untaxed. She was fined £40 and ordered to pay £124.17 back duty and costs of £85.

OLIVER James Crozier, aged 29, of no fixed address, failed to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when suspected of drink driving on May 27 at Ashton, used threatening behaviour, drove without a licence and without the consent of the owner of the vehicle and with no insurance.. He was jailed for 26 weeks and banned from holding or obtaining a driving licence for three years. Crozier also failed to comply with supervision requirements following release from prison by not residing at a specified address and failing to maintain contact with court officers.

ASMAN Ali, aged 20, of Woodend Street, Oldham, was guilty of drink driving in Featherstone Road North, Oldham on April 27. He was fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 into victim services. He was banned from driving for 12 months.

GRZEGORZ Marzec, aged 43, of Furness Avenue, Ashton, assaulted a woman by beating. He has been fined £340 and ordered to pay £85 costs, compensation of £50 and £34 into victim services. He was also given a restraining order preventing him from making contact with his victim or entering the street where she lives.

MARTIN Jeffrey Ashworth, aged 46, of Ashton Road, Oldham, failed to transfer household waste to an authorised person. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £200 costs and £30 into victim services.

GEMMA Burley, aged 36, of Fields New Road, Oldham, dumped waste near the alley gates of Fields New Road on or about January 23. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £200 costs and £30 into victim services.

DARYLL Howe, aged 30, of Granite Street, Oldham, failed to make sure household waste from his property was delivered to an authorised person. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

ZIA Dildal Hussain, aged 61, of Rectory Lane, Prestwich, pleaded guilty to dumping bags containing trade waste from Eccles Wine & Grocery, in Church Street Eccles, near Pearly Bank, Oldham on or about December 22, 2018. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £300 costs and £30 into victim services.

LUCY Smith, of Raper Street, Oldham, failed to prevent household waste being deposited in an alleyway at Raper Street on or before January 25 and on or before February 6. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

NATALIE Louise Wilson, of Pleasant Court, Castleton, Rochdale, failed to ensure household waste was not deposited in Rosehey Lane, Failsworth on December 17, 2018. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £200 costs and £30 into victim services.

ROXANA Constantin, aged, 38, of Ward Street, Oldham, failed to ensure the transfer of household waste from her property was to an authorised person. She was given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £350 costs and £20 into victim services.

FARAH Manzoor, aged 37, of Gainsborough Avenue, Oldham, dumped bags containing household waste in an alleyway at the rear of Gainsborough Avenue, on or about January 22 and on or about February 8. Manzoor was fined a total of £200, and ordered to pay £562 costs and £30 into victim services.

ELEANOR McKie, aged 28, of Coalshaw Green Road, Chadderton, dumped bags containing household waste at the top end of Henley Street, Oldham. She was fined £80 and ordered to pay £300 costs and £30 into victim services.
