AS part of the National Garden Scheme which raises money for charity, two Dobcross gardens will open to the public on Saturday, June 22 and Sunday, June 23 from 1pm-4pm.

The garden at 11 Platt Lane is a cottage garden planted with a mix of shrubs and perennials with wildlife ponds. The summerhouse has a small exhibition of art textiles and bespoke millinery.

The garden at 5 Crib Lane is set on a wooded hillside with great views across to Pots and Pans.In the grounds is a purpose built studio with an exhibition of the owners paintings, prints and drawings.

Both venues will be providing refreshments and plant stalls.

Combined entry is £3 50, free for children.
