THREE men have been charged following a raid on a house in Chadderton in which a 10-week old puppy was stolen before being recovered later unharmed.
Christopher Butler, aged 25, of Wallshaw Street, Oldham and Jamie Stanton, aged 24, of no fixed address have both been charged with burglary.
Muktahir Rahmen Dob, aged 28, of Bamford Street, Oldham has been charged with two counts of burglary.
All three appeared at Tameside Magistrates Court on Friday, June 7 where they were remanded until July 5 2019 when they will appear at Minshull Street Crown court for a plea hearing.
Shortly before 3pm on Wednesday, June 5 2019 police were called to a report of burglary at an address on Gorton Street, Chadderton where a number of items including a 10-week-old puppy were stolen and later recovered on the tram tracks at King Street in Oldham.
The puppy was recovered safe and well and later returned to its owner.
