THE following cases have been dealt with by Tameside Magistrates' Court.

CALLUM O'Donnell, aged 18, of Martin Avenue, Roundthorn, admitted taking a car without the owner’s consent. He was given an 18-month conditional discharge and was ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 into victim services.

DYLAN Thomas Hardman, aged 22, of the Premier Inn, Chadderton Way, Oldham, assaulted a woman on May 2. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

JAMIE Chadderton, aged 25, of Havershaw Lane, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on February 21 by missing unpaid work on March 18 and April 10, and failed to provide evidence to excuse his absences. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay £60 costs.

Craig John HADFIELD, aged 37, of Hope Street, Ashton, drove a car without insurance, without due care and without the consent of the owner. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

RAJA Mudassar Javed, aged 31, of Ryecroft Close, Ashton, acted as a gangmaster in contravention of the Gangmasters (Licensing) Act 2004 between February 13, 2017 and October 9, 2017. He was fined £1,200 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £120 to victim services.

MATTHEW James Richardson, aged 32, of Pine Tree Road, Oldham, was guilty of driving while disqualified, failed to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when suspected of drink driving and drove with no insurance. He was given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for two years and ordered to pay £85 and £115 into victim services. He was banned from driving for three years.

MATTHEW James Richardson, aged 19, of Collingwood Way, Oldham, drove dangerously, without a licence, no insurance, failed to stop after an accident, failed to stop for a police constable and with excess levels of the drug Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood. He also had in his possession the class A drug diamorphine. He was committed to Minshull Street Manchester Crown Court for sentence.

MARTIN Andrew Kendrick, aged 21, of Goodwood Drive, Oldham drove in London Road with excess levels of the controlled drugs Benzoylecgonine and Delta-9-Tetrahydrocannabinol in his blood and was found in possession of cocaine. He been given a community order and will be under curfew with electronic monitoring until August 21, during which time he must be at home between 7pm and 7am daily. He was must also pay £85 costs and £85 into victim services. Kendrick was banned from driving for 12 months.

MICHAEL Trent Algar, aged 67, of Dunwood Park Courts, Shaw, drove while disqualified, with no insurance and without due care, and failed to stop after an accident causing an injury to another person on Milnrow Road on April 6. He was jailed for 16 weeks and banned from driving for three years and 56 days. He must also pay £115 into victim services.

IONUT Bahica, aged 19, Huxley Street, Oldham, drove with no licence and with no insurance. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

A warrant for the arrest of Jamie Lee SHARROCKS, aged 31, of Age Croft, Oldham, has been issued on charges of breaking into a Manor Inn PH, in Abbeyhills Road, Oldham and stealing alcohol worth £50.

MAURICE Steene Coutts, aged 51, of Ten Houses, Alt Lane, Oldham, failed to provide a specimen of breath when suspected of drink driving. He was fined £176 and ordered to pay £30 into victim services. He was disqualified from driving until he passes a driving test.

DAVISON Hayes, aged 19, of Kirkfell Walk, Oldham, failed to comply with supervision requirements following release from detention by not remaining in contact with his case manager since February 27. He was placed under curfew with electronic monitoring until June 22 and until then must remain at home between 9pm and 7am daily. He must also pay £60 costs.

AMY Curry, aged 33, of Ninth Avenue, Limeside, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on March 29, by missing induction appointments on April 2 and 11. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

WILLIAM O’Connor, aged 48, of Walters Drive, Fitton Hill, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on July 24, 2018 by missing appointments on February 27 and April 15. His original fence was burglary at a property in Ashton Road on April 9, 2018. He was given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. O'Connor was also placed under curfew with electronic monitoring until August 28. Until then he must be at home daily between 7pm and 7am. O’Connor has also been ordered to pay £60 costs.

MOHAMMED Rizwan, aged 31, of Bolton Street, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on June 26, 2018, by missing unpaid work on August 26, 2018 and April 10, 2019. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay £60 costs.

DAVID Anthony Usher, aged 34, of Littlemoor Lane, Oldham, failed to comply with supervision requirements imposed following release from prison by not keeping in touch with his supervisor and failed to report to Oldham Probation office on April 1, 10 and 15. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

MOHAMMED Ali, aged 25, of Ronald Street, Oldham, has been found guilty of abducting a child under the age of 16. He has been committed to Minshull Street Manchester Crown Court for sentencing on July 2.

CASEY Mai Devine, aged 18, aged Ripponden Road, Oldham, was guilty of drink driving on April 28, on Halifax Road in Rochdale and of driving with no insurance or licence. She was fined £205 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 to victim services. She has been banned from driving for 12 months and until she passes her test.

MICHAEL James George Smith, aged 33, of Windmill Close, Royton, has been found guilty of assaulting a man on October 10, 2017. He was ordered to carry out 200 unpaid work in the next 12 months and pay £1,000 compensation and £850 costs. He must also pay £85 into victim services.

JAMES Michael Maggs, aged 30, of Oldham Road, Failsworth, was found guilty of assault of a woman and a man by beating. He was given a five-month prison sentence suspended for two years. He was also given a restraining order prohibiting him from making contact, directly or indirectly, with the woman until June 3, 2021, and ordered to pay £100 compensation.

PAUL Glynn Mort, aged 49, of Roman Road, Failsworth, was drunk in charge of a vehicle in Lord Lane, Oldham on March 28. He was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. And ordered to pay £500 costs and £85 costs to victim services. He was banned from driving for seven months.

CANDICE Jennifer Lyons, aged 29, of Hansby Close, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on September 26, by missing unpaid work on November 15 and an appointment on November 20. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

IBRAHIM Reja Rahman, aged 20, of Cromarty Avenue, Chadderton, failed to provide a specimen of breath for analysis when suspected of drink driving and drove without insurance on April 29 in Ashton. He was ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and to pay £85 costs and £85 into victim services. He was banned from driving for 12 months.

JAMES Gareth Swords, aged 28, of Ena Street, Waterside, assaulted two police officers at Oldham on May 7. He was given a community order with a rehabilitation requirement and ordered to pay £100 compensation.

LAURA Cooley, aged 44, of Kings Road, Shaw, was guilty of drink driving in Featherstall Road, North and with no insurance, on May 10. She was fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 to victim services. She was banned from driving for 18 months.

PAUL Pearson, aged 50, of Shelley Road, Chadderton, was guilty of drink driving in Turf Lane, Oldham, on May 5. He was ordered to carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and to pay £85 costs and £85 into victim services.

JAMIE Stewart BERRY, aged 29, of Chatsworth Street, Oldham, failed to ensure waste from his property was transferred to an authorised person. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

CONNOR Luke NINIAN, aged 25, of Huddersfield Road, Oldham, dumped a bag of waste near a bin. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £50 and £30 into victim services.

SAM Charles Edward Scott, aged 22, of Mitchell Street, Oldham, failed to prevent household waste from his property being dumped in Mitchell Street. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

DAVID John Handley, aged 32, of Hawsley Street, Hollinwood, stole fragrances worth £49 from Debenhams at Olhdam. He has been ordered to carry out £100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months.
