Amir Khan has a change of opponent for his fight in Saudi Arabia next month.
Indian Neeraj Goyat is out of the contest on July 12 in Jeddah after being involved in a car crash.
The Bolton star is still set to fight however, with Australian former world featherweight champion Billy Dib stepping in at short notice.
The 33-year-old was world champion from 2011 to 2013 and was unsuccessful in a challenge for the IBF World super featherweight title against American Tevin Farmer last year.
"We are very sad to inform that Neeraj Goyat, who was preparing for his mega fight against Amir Khan, met with a car accident last night that has caused him severe injuries on his head, face and left arm,” said promoter Bill Dosanjh in a statement.
“He is currently in hospital and we wish him a speedy recovery."
The pair wet set to meet for the WBC Pearl title in a clash that would have represented a major step up in class for Goyat.
Khan is looking to rebound from his defeat to WBO World welterweight champion Terence Crawford in New York in April.
