POLICE made a cheeky attempt to coax cannabis growers after discovering a major drugs farm.
Officers in Tameside found the stash, with a street value of around £100,000 in a building in Denton Road, Audenshaw, on Tuesday, July 9.
After making the discovery, officers took to social media to make an unusual offer.
An appeal on the GMP Tameside South Facebook page, said: "If the green fingered person(s) would like to claim their "grow" back, feel free to come and make an appointment at the police station with your green fingered friends to speak to officers, you may want to pack an overnight bag."
