THE top two in the Bolton Cricket League’s Premiership go for a spot in the Hamer Cup final on Sunday.

League leaders Walkden, five points clear at the summit, face last year’s losing finalists Farnworth.

In the other last four tie Bradshaw take on holders Kearsley, the Springfield Road side having ended a nine-year wait for an 11th title in 2018.

They face a side struggling towards the bottom of the Premiership and will fancy their chances of reaching the final once again.

That isn’t the only semi-final action on Sunday as the second team Birtwistle Cup sees Farnworth go up against Walkden and Farnworth Social Circle and Horwich RMI meet for a place in the final.

Saturday’s league action sees a re-run of the 2018 Hamer Cup final as Kearsley host a Farnworth side who will looking to keep the pressure on pace-setters Walkden, who are bidding to cement top spot against Bradshaw.

Elsewhere, third-placed Horwich host Little Lever. Lostock are at home to Westhoughton and bottom side Adlington travel to Farnworth Social Circle.

In the Greater Manchester Cricket League on Saturday, Egerton, seventh in the Premier Division, will be looking to get the better of second from bottom Stand.

In Division 1B, second in the table Astley and Tyldesley are at home to struggling Droylsden and Edgworth, fifth, welcome Heyside looking to move above them in the table.
