Clayton Playing Fields
A TEENAGE boy who was arrested following a suspected rape in Chadderton has been released on bail.
The 15-year-old was detained after police received reports that a 14-year-old girl had been raped in an incident on Clayton Playing Fields.
Officers were called around 5:30pm on Wednesday, July 17, 2019.
The victim, who was originally thought to be 13, is continuing to receive support from specially trained police.
Officers say they are continuing to investigate and anybody with information should call 0161 856 2247, quoting incident number 2362 of 17/07/19.
