THE following cases have been dealt with by Tameside Magistrates’ Court.

CLAIRE Tasker, aged 31, of Vulcan Street, Oldham, used threatening behaviour and assaulted a man by beating in Oldham on July 13, 2018. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

PAULA Ellen Buckley, aged 52, of Grains Road, Delph, pleaded guilty to drink driving in Grains Road, Delph on May 22. She was ordered to carry out 250 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 into victim services. She was also banned from driving for 36 months.

ROBERT Glover, aged 26, of St Johns Street, Lees, exceeded the 30mph speed limit in Dean Row, Wilmslow on November 13, 2018. He was fined £138 and ordered to pay £100 costs and £38 into victim services.

An application by Greater Manchester Police for the continued detention of £2,000 of seized cash from Adilson Malongo, of Crete Street, Oldham, under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 has been granted.

LEWIS Charles Slater, aged 30, of Chapel Road, Oldham, has been found guilty of assaulting a man occasioning actual bodily harm on May 21, 2018. He was committed to Minshull Street Manchester Crown Court for sentence on August 9.

DANIEL Alan Barnett, aged 42, of Three Acre Lane, Shaw, failed to comply with supervision requirements following release from prison by failing to remain in contact with his responsible officer between June 10 and 27. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

BLAINE Biggs, aged 23, of Dryclough Walk, Royton, failed to comply with a community order made by Manchester City Magistrates’ Court on January 24 by failing to maintain contact with his offender manager and failed to notify a change of address. He must now participate in rehabilitation activity up to a maximum of three days. He must also pay £60 costs.

CARMEN Jane Buckley, aged 45, of Yorkdale, Clarksfield, between November 2, 2015 and September 17, 2017, failed to notify the Department of Work and Pensions of a change of circumstances which she knew would affect her entitlement to Carer’s Allowance, namely that she was working and earning above the permitted limits for a claim to that type of benefit. She was fined £150.

IAN Hemsley, aged 30, of Broadhill Crescent, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Stockport Magistrates’ Court on November 26, 2018. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

CURTIS Murphy, aged 21, of Flemming Place, Oldham, failed to comply with supervision requirements imposed following release from prison in that he was not at his address as directed at the breach court on May 31 for the fitting of electronic monitoring. The electronic monitoring service attempted to gain entry on two occasions, on June 1 at 8pm and 11.31pm and a further attempt was made on June 14 at 9.24pm. All three attempts were unsuccessful. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

MOHAMMED Shahbaz, aged 38, of Manchester Road, Werneth, failed to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on April 6 by missing unpaid work on May 18 and June 8. He has now been dealt with for the original offence, driving while disqualified on April 6 in Stoneleigh Street, Oldham. He must now carry out 40 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and pay £60 costs.

An application by Greater Manchester Police for the forfeiture of £1,061.68 in seized cash from Elijah Lawrence, aged 21, of Acorn Way, Oldham, under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 has been granted.

SARAH Louise Bradley, aged 31, of Christchurch Court, Derby Street, Werneth, was guilty of using threatening behaviour on May 22 in Oldham and failed to surrender to bail at Tameside Magistrates’ Court on June 20. She was fined £200 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 into victim services.

EDWARD Joseph Odare, aged 44, of Abbeyhills Road, Oldham, on February 13 banged on a neighbour’s wall shouting a racially offensive word when prohibited from doing so by a restraining order imposed by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on January 9. He was found guilty by magistrates who jailed him for 36 weeks. He was also ordered to pay £115 to victim services.

LIAM James Curley, aged 19, of Sumner Street, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Kirklees Magistrates’ Court on January 31 by failing to attend as instructed on March 6 and 11. He must now carry out 20 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months.

LAHIN Miah, aged 39, of Robinson Street, Chadderton, was guilty of causing £100 to a window belonging to a woman. He was given a six-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs and £21 into victim services.

LIAM BARKER, aged 20, of Longfield Crescent, Oldham, has been found guilty of burglary at a home in Granville Road, Tameside on September 15, 2018,. He was ordered to pay £85 to victim services ,£300 costs and was placed under curfew with electronic tagging until August 29, and must remain at home from 7pm to 5am daily.

DILIP Patel, aged 45, of Crete Street, Oldham, was found guilty of using threatening behaviour towards a police constable at Oldham on July 25, 2018. He was placed under cufew until August 29. Until then he must remain at home between 7pm and 7am daily. He must also pay £50 compensation, £250 costs and £85 into victim services.
