A FORMER bank could be turned into an Italian restaurant, under new plans.
Applicant Marino Falasca, of Pavoni & Co, has lodged plans for a small 40 to 50 cover Italian 'osteria' at the old Lloyds Bank in Berry Lane, Longridge.
The wood fired pizzeria would serve high quality Italian produce and beverages to the community.
Mr Falasca said: "We will be sympathetic to our surroundings, training staff and deterring customers from making excessive noise externally.
"The business will be maintained to the highest standard, externally maintained and cleaned on a regular/daily basis, insuring we respect our high standards and our community."

It is envisaged that the restaurant would be closed on Monday and Tuesday and open from Wednesday to Sunday between 10am and 10pm or 11pm.
Four part-time and four full-time jobs would be created from the plans at a minimum, with more expected.
