OLDHAM'S 'calendar girls' have organised a launch event for where tasteful monthly images of them scantily clad will be available for sale.
The women, all of whom have been affected by cancer, are raising money for the Royal Oldham Hospital's Victoria Unit.
The launch takes place at the Blue Tiffin restaurant, in Higginshaw Lane, Royton, on Thursday, August 29, for which tickets cost £5, including a glass of wine or champagne on arrival and hot snacks on the tables at 9pm.
The calendars cost £9.99 each. Tickets are available from leader of the group Jeanette Sykes, whose email address is jeanette.sykes@live.co.uk.
