THE following cases have been dealt with by Tameside Magistrates' Court.

ASHLEY Patrick Dissington, aged 32, of Neston Close, Oldham failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ court on February 26 by missing unpaid work appointments on April 27 and June 22. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

LEIGH Anne Needham, aged 24, of Coalshaw Green Road, Oldham, dumped bags of household waste in an alleyway at Coalshaw Green Road on January 10 and January 11. She was fined £440 and ordered to pay £531 costs and £30 to victim services.

LEE Swan, aged 38, of Aldred Street, Failsworth, dumped bags of household waste on a footpath Aledred Street. He was fined £220 and ordered to pay costs of £275 and £30 to victim services.

ANDREW Michael BONE, aged 32, of Mellor Way, Chadderton, stole meat worth £71.01 from Lidl at Oldham on January 30, jigsaw worth £52 from B & Q at Oldham on January 16 and robbed a man of food worth £50 on December 19, 2018. On February 7 he broke into a house on Mellor Way and stole tools the value of which is unknown. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

DAVID Bland, aged 57, of Lynwood Drive, Oldham, committed fraud by failing to disclose to the Department of work and Pensions, the National Health Business Service and information that his partner had died and continued to claim disability living allowance, carers allowance and employment support allowance. He was committed to Minshull Street Manchester Crown Court for sentence.

JOSEPH Zachary DAvies, aged 23, of Dunwood Park Courts, Milnrow Road, Shaw, stole three cameras and a suitcase worth £100 on April 6 and a speaker and vacuum cleaner worth £200 from The Range at Rochdale on April 22. On November 7, 2018 he stole an Apple iphone worth £365 from a woman. A warrant was issued for his arrest by Tameside Magistrates Court on July 25.

KALMAN Jozeph Petrovics, aged 27, of Wainsford Walk, Oldham, pleaded guilty to possession of cannabis on May 5. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £20 to victim services.

PAUL Joseph Barker, aged 39, of Alders Court, Bardsley, was drunk in charge of a car on Ashton Road on June 23. He was fined £369 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £36 to victim services.He was disqualified from obtaining a licence for six months.

MICHAEL D'Arcy, aged 44, of Cavendish Way, Royton, was guilty of drink driving on June 19 on Thornton Road, Oldham. He was given a 12 week prison sentence suspended for 12 months, because of a “very high reading and driving standard of an unacceptable nature.” He must also pay £85 costs and £115 to victim services. D’Arcy was also banned from driving for 30 months.

STEPHEN Docherty, aged 43, of Minor Street, Failsworth, was guilty of drink driving on Minor Street, Failsworth on June 22. He was ordered to carry out 80 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and to pay £85 costs and £85 to victim services.

JANZEB ELLAHI, aged 18, of Clinton Walk, Oldham, drove on Waterloo Road, Oldham on May 19 with no insurance, with no licence and without due care and attention. He was fined £180 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 to victim services. He was also banned from obtaining a driving licence for six months.

RYAN Anthony Henry, aged 23, of Alder Lane, Oldham, was guilty of drink driving on March 6, and of driving with no insurance. He was fined £180 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30 to victim services. He was banned from driving for 12 months.

TOQEER Ali Syed, aged 21, of Boundary Gardens, admitted possession of cannabis on June 22. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 to victim services.

ALI Akbar Shah, aged 20, of Frederick Street, Coppice, made off without payment with £40.06 worth of petrol on January 13, a further £86.41 on January 14, a further 80pence worth from Sainsbury’s on January 20, and £43.07 from the same outlet on January 22, a further £42.09 on January 16, £36.73 from Sainsbury’s on January 24, £53.14 on January 18, and drove a car with no licence or no insurance. He was ordered to pay £300 compensation and was placed under curfew with electronic monitoring until September 18. Until then he must be at home between 7pm and 7am daily. He was banned from driving until he passes his test.

CHARLOTTE Wharton, aged 41, of King Street, Delph, was guilty of drink driving in King Street, Delph on November 12, 2018. She was fined £675 and ordered to pay £150 costs and £67 to victim services. She was banned from driving for 12 months.

JASON David Biggins, aged 30, of Huddersfield Road, Oldham stole fragrances worth £64 from Boots at Oldham on May 8 and on that date entered Oldham town centre when prohibited from doing so by a criminal behaviour order on December 21 by Tameside Magistrates’ Court. Biggins also failed to surrender to custody at Tameside Magistrates’ Court on July 11. He was given a 26- week prison sentence, suspended for 18 months and ordered to pay £85 costs and £115 to victim services.

CHERRISE Massay. aged 22, of Coashaw Green Road, Chadderton, drove while disqualified and with no insurance in Manchester Road, Hollinwood, on January 6. She was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs and £20 to victim services.

JUSTIN Leo Storer, aged 38, of Mitchell Street, Oldham, stole clothing worth £204 from TJ Hughes in Oldham on May 23, and a further £169.95 from the same store on June 11. On June 9, she also stole clothing worth £180 from JD Sports at Oldham. Storer stole £135 worth of clothing from TJ Hughes on June 14. He was given a community order which included a requirement for treatment for drug dependency. He was also given a criminal behaviour order banning him from Oldham town centre for two years from July 26.

ASIF Hussain, aged 33, of Newport Street, Coppice, was guilty of using threatening behaviour at Oldham on June 6 and failed to provide a specimen of breath when suspected of drink driving. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £85 into victim services.

CADEN Lewis Norton, aged 19, of Derker Street, Oldham, caused £191.96 worth of damage to an ant- rip blanket at the Ashton custody office. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £191.96 compensation and £20 to victim services.

JOSEPH Thomas Snape, aged 32, of Ashworth Court, Ashworth Street, Shaw, stole four handbags worth £199.96 from TK Max on May 30 and entered Boots in Oldham town centre on July 6 and 7 when prohibited from doing so by a criminal behaviour order. In boots he stole fragrances worth £200. Snape also failed to comply with supervision requirements imposed following release from prison on May 29. Snape has now been jailed for a total of 91 days and has been ordered to pay costs of £85 and £122 into victim services. He has also been ordered to undergo treatment for drug dependency.

CALLUM Michael James Turner, aged 22, of Longfellow Crescent Shoulver, was found guilty in his absence of breaking into a property in Lees Road, Oldham on May 5. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

MATTHEW David Ankers, aged 20, of Asthon Road West, Failsworth, stole a Renault car worth £2,000 on September 23, 2018, and on May 23, 2019 he failed to surrender to custody at Tameside Magistrates’ Court. He was ordered to undergo drug rehabilitation for six months and was fined £50 and must pay £300 compensation and £100 costs.
