PLANS have been drawn up to create a two-storey building to house four apartments in Rainhill.

Proposals for a building and including associated parking at 74 Rainhill Road have been submitted to St Helens Council.

The application states the development is proposed for "the vacant plot, previously used as the garden".

Plans say the location is a "predominantly residential area on the junction of Rainhill Road and Ellerslie Avenue".

Parking facilities are to the rear of the building and accessed via Ellerslie Avenue.

The proposed building is "a two storey structure set at the back of the footpath from the main road with parking to the rear".

Plans are on consultation until Monday, September 9.
