AN ARREST warrant has been issued for a trainee probation officer accused of conning the National Probation Service out of more than £5,000.
Magistrates issued the warrant without bail for Martins Orobato, 28, of Bennett Crescent, Oxford, after he failed to appear before the Swindon court to answer a charge of fraud by abuse of position.
Read also: Jordan Anderson Co-op stabbing trial day 1Orobato is said to have been working as a trainee probation officer in the city when it is claimed he defrauded the National Probation Service out of £5,042.26 between June 1, 2018 and January 31, 2019.
The prosecution is being brought by Thames Valley Police.
