If like us, you enjoy a good nose on property websites, eyeing up houses you can't afford, then you might be interested to know exactly where the most expensive streets in Bournemouth and Poole are.

According to property experts Zoopla, the average price of a three-bedroom house in Bournemouth is £353,436 and in Poole it's £372,884. 

Bournemouth's most expensive streets are in the same postcode, which probably isn't a surprise to those in the know, with Poole's all in one postcode - the very prestigious BH13.

Poole's most expensive streets are (according to Zoopla's Zed Index):

  • Old Coastguard Road, Sandbanks, BH13  - £2,698,786
  • The Horseshoe, Sandbanks, BH13 - £2,464,029
  • Western Avenue, Branksome Park, BH13 - £2,356,633
  • Bury Road, Branksome Park, BH13 - £2,223,650
  • Martello Road, Branksome Park BH13 - £2,174,161

And in Bournemouth, the streets which compare are:

  • Little Forest Road, Bournemouth BH4

The average price for property in Little Forest Road stood at £1,085,045 in August 2019. This is a fall of 0.32% since May 2019 and fall of 1.23% since 12 months ago. Flats in Little Forest Road sold for an average of £312,280 and terraced houses for £458,339.

  • Leven Avenue, Bournemouth BH4

​The average price for property in Leven Avenue was £1,055,861 in August 2019. This is a fall of 0.71% in the last three months and fall of 1.61% since 12 months ago. Flats in Leven Avenue sold for an average of £266,123 and terraced houses for £458,339.
