THE following cases have been dealt with by Tameside Magistrates' Court.

LEE Horrocks, aged 39, of Wellbank Close, Oldham, contacted a woman by text messages when prohibited from doing so by a restraining order imposed by Manchester Magistrates’ court on July 6, October 10, both 2018 and between December 30, 2018 and January 4, 2019 and on January 23. He was fined £80 and ordered to pay £85 costs, £85 to victim services and ordered to carry out rehabilitation activity up to a maximum 20 days.

JAKE Trevor Smith, aged 28, of Stanley Road, Chadderton, stole a pork joint worth £5 from Aldi at Oldham on March 13 and had a needle with which he threated another person. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

ELISIA Buckley, aged 19, of Richmond Avenue, Royton, stole beauty equipment worth £375 from Boots at Chadderton on February 4and cosmetics and shampoo worth a total of £4,590 from Boots on numerous dates this year. On May 28 she assaulted a female PCSO. She was given a 20-week prison sentence suspended for 20 weeks when she appeared before Tameside Magistrates’ Court on August 16. She must also carry out 100 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months. Buckley was ordered to pay £100 compensation and £115 to victim services.

An application from Greater Manchester Police for the continued detention of £2,000 of seized cash from Luke Stacey, aged 22, of Church Meadow Greenfield, under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 has been granted for a further six months.

An application from Greater Manchester Police for the continued detention of £6,000 of seized cash and items of designer clothing and footwear from Clive Junior Wallace, aged 35, of Bakery Court, Ashton, under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 has been granted.

MARK Dominic Bone, aged 27, of Mellor Way, Chadderton, caused £400 worth of damage to windows on August 16. He was fined £100 and ordered to pay a total of £268 compensation, £90 to victim services.

MARK Cavanaugh, aged 28, of Vulcan Street, Oldham, failed to comply with supervision requirements imposed following release from prison by failing to attend planned appointments on May 31 and July 26. He was jailed for 14 days.

An application from Greater Manchester Police for the continued detention of £7,480 of seized cash Rayyan Ali, aged 20, of Fletcher Close, Chadderton, has been granted under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002.

ADAM Richard Howard, aged 26, of Hyde Road, Sholver, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates on March 3 by behaving in an unacceptable manner on an unpaid work assignment on April 4 and failing to attend an office visit on April 12. He has now been ordered to comply with the original requirement of a rehabilitation activity requirement and has been fined £200 and must pay £60 costs.

PATRICIA Harvey, aged 40, of Ribble Road, Hollinwood, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on May 23 by failing to attend unpaid work on June 18 and 25. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

ALI Akbar Shah, aged 20, of Frederick Street, Coppice, failed to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on June 24 by failing to attend unpaid work pm July 9 and 10. He was fined £20 and ordered to pay £60 costs.

An application by Greater Manchester Police for the continued seizure of £3,200 from Mohammed Umar Javed, aged 23, of Gainsborough Avenue, Oldham, under the Proceeds of Crime Act 2002 has been granted.

BENJAMIN Walsh, aged 30, of Rochdale Road, Royton, was guilty of breaking in to a house in Besom Lane, Stalybridge, with intent to steal on May 5, and has been given a 26-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. He must also pay £85 and £115 to victim services.

ABDULLAH Zubair, aged 22, of Coppice Street, Oldham, was guilty of possession of cocaine. Drove a car with no licence or insurance, assaulted a police constable on August 19. He has been given a four-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months and ordered to pay £122 to victim services.
