St Peter’s Church Heritage Open Day

St Peter’s Church is often sighted as a classic and important example of 1800s Gothic architecture with a classic stained class design by Thomas Willement, Heaton, Butler & Bayne that you can examine with a telescope. It’s located at the corner of Church Road and Moorside Avenue.

Journey to the top of the tower to ring the bell, take the opportunity to play the organ and take part in some challenging quizzes about what you’ve learned.

The Open Day will take place on Saturday, September 21, from 10am to 4pm and is organised by the St Peter’s Parish Church Centre, Halliwell.

Be aware that car park entrance at the bottom of Moorside Avenue is unfortunately not suitable for wheelchairs. However, free street parking will be available on Moorside Avenue.
