Bolton At Home's plans for social housing on green space behind Singleton Avenue in Horwich
THE deputy council leader will finally decide whether to sell a field in Horwich to a housing association on Monday.
Cllr Martyn Cox will have the final say on whether to sell the land at Singleton Avenue, known locally as Pickup's Fields, to Bolton At Home for around half a million pounds.
This comes after months of protest against the housing development which led councillors to recommend against selling the site and instead, keep it as a green space for the community.
The decision will be made at a private meeting.
