A MAJOR Bolton boxing bill is set to be broadcast on national TV.
The Bolton Whites Hotel event on September 28, which features Jack Flatley's English super-welterweight title defence against Harry Scarff, will be live on Channel 5 and 5Spike.
The move comes after Flatley's manager Steve Wood linked up with Mick Hennessy, the promoter who guided Tyson Fury to a world title.
The card will be headlined by Kent super-featherweight Alex Dilmaghani taking on Nicaraguan former world title challenger Francisco Fonseca.
The fight was originally set to take place in Maidstone on the same night but has been moved due to issues with the venue.
Farnworth's Flatley, unbeaten in 16 contests, will look to shine in front of a home crowd again having won his belt in a a thrilling clash against Craig Morris at the same venue in May.
The 24-year-old is bidding to continue his rise up the domestic rankings but Derby's Scarff has won all seven of his fights.
Next Saturday's undercard fights, including Flatley's Elite Boxing team-mate Mickey Ellison taking on Manchester's Charlie Schofield, will be shown on 5Spike with the action then moving to Channel 5 at 9pm.
