SONGS such as a Oom Pah-Pah and Food Glorious Food will be enjoyed once more as the smash-hit production Oliver takes to the stage in just under a week's time.

Acclaimed company, BCMCS is bringing the musical to the Albert Halls.

And it is a musical local theatre companies have loved to produce over the years.

Back in October 1975 the show, based on Charles Dickens' Oliver Twist was performed by Kearsley AOS.

This picture captures the main characters as they get their hands on Oliver.

Oliver premiered in the West End in 1960, enjoying a long run, and successful long runs on Broadway, tours and revivals, after being brought to the US by producer David Merrick in 1963.
