OLDHAM-based consumer products specialist Ultimate Products has renewed its licence agreement for exclusive use of the Russell Hobs trademark in the UK and European Union until March, 2023.
Russell Hobbs is a British heritage kitchenware brand for which Ultimate Products - headquartered at Manor Mill in Chadderton - has had the licence for cookware lines since 2011.
Ultimate Products' Russell Hobbs offering spans a range of non-electrical kitchen and laundry products specifically designed to help with chores in the kitchen and beyond.
It does not include Russell Hobbs electrical appliances.
In the 2019 financial year, the group generated unaudited revenues of £9.4 million under the "Russell Hobbs" trademark, representing 7.6 per cent of the Group's total revenue for that period.
The company meanwhile enjoyed a 50 per cent increase in profits to almost £10 million.
In its last trading update on the London Stock Exchange it also reported a 40.8 per cent increase in revenue from £87.6 million in 2018 to £123.3 million this year.
The company employs 270 people in the town.
