SEPTEMBER 27: Greenacres Congregational Church, (church hall) Galland Street, Oldham, zumba and pilates classes (30 minutes each) starting at 10am. Class taken by experienced instructor at £4.50 per person session. Class is small and friendly.

OCTOBER 8: Friezland Church Hall, Greenfield, 7.30pm, Saddleworth Floral Art hosting a floral demonstration by Jenny Williams of Sharston, Manchester. Her theme is "The World Is My Oyster". All welcome. Visitors £6 including refreshments.

OCTOBER 13: St Thomas Church, Northgate Lane, Moorside, Harvest Service, from 10.30am. Please take along donations of packet/tinned foods which will be taken to Oldham Foodbank and knitted hats, scarves and gloves to the Booth Centre for the homeless in Manchester.

OCTOBER 18: St Thomas Church, Northgate Lane, Moorside, 7pm, return of STYLE's popular clothes party where you can buy high street named fashions at very low prices. Come along a grab some bargains and have fun. Licensed bar, raffle to win vouchers to spend on the night, jewellery and perfume stalls. Tickets £3.
