LOSTOCK AC's Hazel Hatfield took advantage of the unseasonably hot weather to finish 16th woman and ninth in her age category at the Abersoch half marathon.
Taking in the roads, trails and hills of the beautiful Llyn Peninsula and finishing with an energy-sapping home straight along Abersoch beach, Hatfield turned in a strong time of 1hr 59mins 54secs, and she was joined on the finishing stretch by her young son.
Meanwhile, in Northwich, Karen Taylor completed the inaugural St Nichols River Run 10k in 62:35.
In parkrun, Anthony Maxwell (24:29), Mary White (24:55), Cathy Stratton (25:04), Martin Smith (26:49), Ian Burns (27:33) and Alan Mather (27:51) all took part at Haigh Woodland, while in Bolton, Andy Laycock clocked 25:35.
In Tallow, in the Republic of Ireland. Tony Marlow finished in 21:57, while, at Worsley Woods, Mark Shuttleworth ran 22:06.
