OLDHAM dance troupe Collettes have enjoyed amazing success in 2019, as the group expanded to 96 dancers.
All sections of the burgeoning troupe, which rehearses at Oldham's Oasis Academy twice a week, have won honours from the governing body - the Mid Cheshire Independent Adjudication Panel (MCIAP). The Tots won team of the year, the Tinies won the season-opening championships and the juniors won the All England championships held at Blackpool Tower Ballroom, while the Seniors won "overall team of the year" - the league championship for dance troupe.
Organiser Gary Melia said: "The girls train twice a week and are very committed to what is a highly competitive hobby.
"Our troupe ranges in age from two to 37 years and we have a great time competing at all levels with great success."
