THE following cases have been dealt with at Tameside Magistrates' Court.

STEPHEN Berry, aged 32, of Rosary Close, Oldham, was guilty of drink driving and driving with no insurance in a Ford Transit Connect on Lyndhurst Road on September 9. He was fined a total of £560 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £32 to victim services. Berry was also banned from driving for 12 months.

GIGGLE AND GROW LIMITED, of St Mary’s House, Horsedge Street, Oldham, at the Giggle and Grow Day Nursery in Glodwick Road, was guilty of health and safety breaches and has been fined £800 and ordered to pay £2,800 costs and £80 to victim services.

BRADLEY John Jackson, aged 31, of Falmer Street, Oldham, failed to comply with a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on May 20 by failing to attend appointments on June 20 and 27. He was ordered to carry out 20 hours of unpaid work in the next 12 months and to pay £60 costs.

JAMIE Lee Sharrocks, aged 32, of Furness Avenue, Oldham, drove disqualified, with no insurance with cannabis in his system on January 17 and took a vehicle without the owner’s consent on January 13. Sharrocks also failed to surrender to custody at Tameside Magistrates’ Court on February 21. He also pleaded guilty to driving while disqualified and with no insurance on March 7 and failing to surrender to custody on Mary 30. He also admitted burglary at the Manor Inn public house on Abbeyhils Road, Oldham, where he stole £50 worth of alcohol on April 15. He has been jailed for 16 weeks and must pay £115 to victim services.

EDWARD Thomson, aged 34, of Heywood House, Oldham, has been found guilty of causing another man to fear that violence would be used against him between January 1, 2018 and April 16, 2018. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

CAMERON Issac Mills, aged 20, of Salts Street, Shaw, failed to comply with supervision requirements imposed following release for prison by failing to attend appointments on April 26, May 15 and August 2. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

VASILE Paun, aged 38, of Villa Road, Oldham, failed to comply with the requirements of a community order made by Tameside Magistrates’ Court on June 17 by failing to attend unpaid work appointments on July 13 and 27. A warrant was issued for his arrest.

ELANA Feraru, aged 29, of Edith Street, Oldham, failed to prevent the disposal of controlled waste at a rear alleyway in Ashton Road/ Edith Street, on or before July 16, August 1, September 10, November 6, December 3 and 12, all 2018. A warrant was issued for her arrest.

John CREGAN, aged 37, of Lees Road, Oldham, was guilty of drink driving in Huddersfield Road on September 21. He was fined £120 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £32 to victim services. He was banned from driving for 12 months.

FREYA Louise JONES, aged 19, of Partridge Way, Chadderton, was guilty of driving with excess levels of elements of cannabis in her system in Buckstones Road, Oldham on April 9. She was fined £160 and ordered to pay £85 costs and £30. She was banned from driving for 12 months.

MOHAMMED Iqbal Ahmed, aged 29, of Burnley Lane, Chadderton, was found in possession of cocaine and cannabis on April 18. He was also driving a car with no insurance and with elements of cannabis and cocaine in his blood and while unfit to drive through drugs. He was placed under curfew with electronic monitoring until December 25 and must remain at home between 7pm and 7am daily. He must also pay £85 costs and £90 to victim services.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest Daniel Dronsfield, aged 30, of Edge Lane Road, Oldham, on charges of possession of cannabis at Tameside on March 13.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Liam Everitt, aged 28, of Grove Road, Uppermill, on charges of driving with cocaine in his blood, with no licence and with no insurance on Derker Street, Oldham on April 20.

A warrant has been issued for the arrest of Tommy Joe O’Connor, of Rowden Road, Oldham on charges of driving with cocaine in his blood in Lily Lanes, Ashton on March 13.

MARTIN Lawrence Watson, aged 45, of Whitebank Road, Limeside, was guilty of being drunk and disorderly at Oldham bus station on September 17. He was given a 12-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £85 costs and £21 to victim services.

AARON Edwards, aged 26, of Alton Street, Hathershaw, dumped seven bags containing domestic waste on land at Laburnum Avenue, Shaw, on or about April 8. He was fined £40 and ordered to pay costs of £250 and £30 to victim services.

CHRISTINA Hughes, aged 53, of Coalshaw Green Road, Oldham, dumped bags of household waste at the rear of Coalshaw Green Road on or about April 12. She was fined £440 and ordered to pay £406 costs and £44 to victim services.

ROBERT Michael Slicker, aged 48, of Cheltenham Street, Oldham stole a charity box containing an unknown quantity of cash from the MIND charity at Oldham on September 11 and on October 3 failed to surrender to custody at Tameside Magistrates’ Court. He was given a 12-week prison sentence suspended for 12 months. He must also undergo treatment for drug dependency for six months and pay £85 costs, £122 to victim services and £25 compensation.

CURTIS Wayne Murphy, aged 21, was drunk and disorderly in Union Street, Tameside on August 2. He was fined £25 and ordered to pay £32 to victim services.

STEPHEN Wood, aged 45, of Somerton Walk, Taunton Road, Chadderton, was guilty of causing £200 worth of damage to a man’s window on February 19 and on May 31 caused £249 worth damage to a kitchen window belonging to the same man. He was given a 24-month conditional discharge and ordered to pay £449 compensation and £21 to victim services.
