OLDHAM Athletic FC are looking for someone to become the next Chaddy the Owl.

Following on from Wayne Hurst’s excellent work as the mascot over a number of years, he has now decided to hang up his wings, and as a result the club are seeking someone else to take the mantle and become the focal point of a home matchday, interacting with fans of all ages.

Being a matchday mascot consists of many important parts, but for some none are more important than actually meeting Chaddy the Owl.

The person that takes the role needs to be passionate about making a difference and be willing to go the extra mile in terms of helping create lasting memories for thousands of Latics supporters.

The role is a voluntary position with the following requirements:

An availability to be present at all Oldham Athletic home games for the 2019/20 season and beyond if successful.

Be physically fit and able to keep up with the demands of the role.

Have a height of around 5’9” to 6’1” to fit into the suit comfortably.

Have a UK driving licence to be available for Community Trust visits when possible.
