WALTON Hall's monthly artisan market will no longer be taking place.
Warrington Market teamed up with Walton Hall to launch the event at the refurbished Old Riding School in 2018 but in a statement they said with a 'heavy heart' it would not be continuing.
A spokesman said: "Due to several challenging and ongoing operational and logistical issues, we have taken the difficult decision to pull our monthly artisan market at Walton Gardens.
"We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our traders, customers and staff at Walton Hall and Gardens for their support over the last 18 months.
"This is certainly not the end. We relocate to our new permanent facility in the heart of the Time Square development early next year and we are currently planning a diverse programme of regular new street markets and events for 2020 and beyond.
"In the meanwhile we’re busy planning our town centre Christmas market and a range of other exciting promotions. More details coming soon. Watch this space."
