A WOMAN who admitted attacking hospital staff during an incident at A&E has been told she must comply with probation officials ahead of her sentencing hearing.
Rachel Heussi, of Lorne Park Road in Bournemouth, assaulted a health care assistant and a senior sister at Royal Bournemouth Hospital's accident and emergency department on July 8.
The defendant, 33, appeared at Poole Magistrates' Court last week, where she admitted two counts of assaulting an emergency worker by beating them and causing a nuisance or disturbance to NHS staff members.
Prosecutors said Heussi refused to leave the premises. She was there "other than for the purpose of obtaining medical advice, treatment or care", the court heard.
Heussi also admitted criminal damage and two counts of failing to surrender to custody during the same hearing. It was heard that she damaged a wall, a number of chairs and hospital scrubs before destroying a glass vase at the hospital.
She was bailed on the condition that she co-operate with probation for a pre-sentence report. She must also report to Bournemouth police station twice a week.
