A large cannabis farm has been discovered at a house in Bolton.
Greater Manchester Police said officers in Halliwell discovered a cannabis farm in a house yesterday.
Writing on the GMP Bolton Central Facebook page, officers said: "Halliwell team PC Bolton and PCSO Thornley whilst on enquiries stumbled upon this cannabis farm. Front room, two bedrooms and the loft full of cannabis plants."
A spokesman for Greater Manchester Police added the plants were discovered at a home on Shepherd Cross Street.
No arrests have yet been made, but police are following 'several lines of enquiry'.
Since 2009, cannabis has been classified as a class B drug under the Misuse of Drugs Act 1971 - which means it is illegal to have for yourself, give away or sell.
To report a crime, contact police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
