Oldham firefighters deal blaze at 'Seven Sisters'
OLDHAM firefighters were among crews called to deal with a kitchen fire on the third floor of the Seven Sisters tower blocks in Rochdale last night (Sunday, November 3).
They were called to the block in College Way at 9pm as a pall of black smoke was seen coming from the balcony of the flat.
Crews from Oldham, Hollins and Chadderton made up three of the six pumps which dealt with the fire.
The block was not evacuated and no-one was injured.
It is the second fire at the Seven Sisters blocks in the last three months.
