CHRISTMAS is just around the corner and everyone is starting to get into the festive spirit.

1. Santa’s Reindeer Parade, Parliament Square
Saturday, November 16, 11am to 4pm
The word’s out that Santa will be paying a visit to Oldham.
Take the family and meet him today from 1pm in the town centre. There will be additional entertainment such as live music and street theatre for guests to enjoy, starting from 11am. Entry is free.
2. Maggie's Oldham Christmas Fair, The Royal Oldham Hospital, Rochdale Road
Sunday, November 17, 12pm to 15pm
Charity organisation Maggie’s Oldham has prepared a Sunday packed with fun for kids and adults alike.
Tasty treats, mulled wine and free parking await guests who drop by, as well as the chance to meet Santa. Event is free.
3. Audenshaw Christmas Lights Switch-on 2019
Friday, November 22, Ryecroft Hall, 4pm to 7pm
Join Father Christmas for this year’s Christmas lights switch-on at Ryecroft Hall.
There will be craft stalls, stage entertainment, a fun fair, mulled wine and live music. Entry is free and everyone is welcome.
4. Oldham Christmas Lights Switch-On
Sunday, November 24, Tommyfield Market, 1pm to 6pm
Meet TV favourite and CBeebies’ big friendly dog Hey Duggee at intervals throughout the day (1pm, 2pm and 3pm).
Then join in the switch-on celebrations from 5pm and enjoy a fireworks display to finish the evening with a bang. Event is free.
5. Santa's Boogie Wonderland, Oldham Event Centre
Friday, November 29, 7pm to 12.30am
Join Santa at his Christmas Boogie Wonderland.
Enjoy a three-course Christmas meal, entertainment from 70s/80s singers and a DJ to dance the night away.
Tickets cost £39.50 per person and include a three-course menu with a starter, a main and a dessert.
