A COLLEGE is searching for a life model.

Nelson and Colne College has advertised a job for the profession which includes modelling unclothed for life drawing classes.

The model would also be expected to hold various poses.

The college said the technique of life drawing is an 'essential' aspect of the Foundation Art and Design Course.

A spokesman said: “This position as a life model is a unique opportunity to join one of the leading colleges in the country, but not only that, support one of the principal strands of Creative Arts and Media courses here at Nelson and Colne College in the form of life drawing, something which we have successfully offered for many years.

“The technique of life drawing is an essential aspect of the Foundation Art and Design course and for students in the second year of their Level 3 BTEC in Art and Design.”
